Why did we create this role?
To support our North American business expansion, we seek an all-round Vision AI Engineer with strong problem-solving skills who excels in a customer-facing, commercial environment.
As a key member of our foundational US team, you'll engage from first lead interactions through deal closing, implementation, and ongoing support. You'll demonstrate our cutting-edge Vision AI solutions, manage post-sales delivery, and drive customer success—becoming a trusted advisor as you grow our US business portfolio.
What will you do?
As our dedicated US-based Solutions Engineer, you will be a key driver behind Robovision’s market penetration and customer success.
From idea to rollout, you'll work closely with customer and internal teams to ensure that user needs are seamlessly integrated into the solution's capabilities.
In this role, you will:
Understand customer pain points and craft high-impact solutions aligned with their goals and our product capabilities.
Lead early-stage engagement by showcasing our Vision AI product and addressing technical questions in commercial settings.
Run functional and technical design workshops and develop early prototypes using customer data to support winning proposals.
Act as the first technical point of contact during implementation to ensure smooth adoption and resolve early issues.
Design and test the right mix of camera tech and Vision AI to meet performance needs and validate solutions for operational use.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during rollout while maintaining clear communication with both internal teams and customers.
Draft use-case-specific technical documentation and support contract clarity.
Participate in customer visits and tradeshows
Collaborate with HQ and global teams, and engage across marketing, sales, product, and delivery.
Join customer visits and represent Robovision at tradeshows.
Job Requirements
Who are you?
Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and a track record of solving problems in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Comfortable working remotely and independently, with experience in scale-ups and collaborating across international, cross-functional teams.
Thrives in customer-facing roles by handling technical assessments and early implementations, managing projects from presales to post-deployment.
Strong communicator with a customer-focused mindset and excellent presentation and listening skills.
Solid technical foundation in IT, data science, computer vision, or software development, with hands-on AI experience.
At least 3 years in a commercially-oriented, technical role.Preferably based near Sunrise, Florida or open to relocation; exceptional remote candidates welcome.
Authorized to work in the US and willing to travel frequently for customers, events, and team meetings in Belgium.
