2008

Jonathan Berte starts Robovision as a consultancy focused on computer vision and robotics.

2013

In collaboration with ISO Group, Robovision develops an innovative robotic cutting planter powered by computer vision, marking a significant technological breakthrough.

2014

Tim Waegeman joins as CTO leading the development of Robovision AI, a scalable computer vision platform built on machine learning.

2015

Robovision AI becomes the driving force behind multiple first-of-its-kind projects. The platform is streamlined into a market-ready product.

2019

Three innovative horticulture solutions featuring 3D vision are launched. Expansion into manufacturing, healthcare, and retail begins.

2020

Robovision is honored with EY’s Scale-up of the Year Award in recognition of its rapid growth and innovation.

2021

Horticulture operations continue to scale, even during COVID-19.

2022

Robovision secures €10M in funding, rolls out new features, and expands through a growing partner network. The company grows to 100 dedicated teammates. 

2022

Thomas Van den Driessche, an experienced leader in international software and commercial space networks, is appointed CEO. Jonathan Berte becomes Chairman of the Board.

2023

A new headquarters opens to support a growing team and future ambitions.

2024

$42M is secured from four new investors to solidify applications and the platform: Target Global, Astanor Ventures, Red River West, and PE Capital. The stage is set for expansion and impact across Europe, Asia, and the United States.

2025

On 1 October 2025, Leon van de Pas joins the Board as CEO, initiating a pivotal shift in strategy. Jonathan Berte focuses on growing the horticulture business unit, where Robovision’s journey began.

2026

Robovision extends its offering to enable outcome assurance, with Industrial Vision Intelligence Infrastructure that keeps manufacturers reliable, compliant, and profitable for the long term.
