The ISO Cutting and Planting machine was engineered by Robovision in partnership with ISO Horti, an innovative supplier of automation machinery for greenhouse horticulture. While they provided the mechanics, we made sure the robots could see and understand their environment with Robovision’s computer vision AI technology.
The rose cutter and planter uses our 3D Deep Learning algorithms to analyze the entire geometry of the vine for precise cutting to the correct stem length. This accurate approach ensures that growers get consistent, high-quality cuttings, which are essential for successful cultivation.
