Software Development Manager

We are looking for someone to work in tandem with the current software manager, with a strong focus on the process side of things, ensuring smooth operations and scalable improvements across the engineering department.

What will you do?

• Empower and support the engineering team to consistently deliver exceptional results, ensuring the creation of high-quality products.

• Drive continuous improvement in the product development process by acting as a bridge between engineering and other departments, clearly communicating technical constraints, opportunities, and solutions.

• Maintain a holistic and real-time view of the engineering organization, actively identifying and implementing scalable improvements across the team and processes.

• Design and manage data-driven dashboards to provide real-time insights into engineering progress, focusing on key metrics that reflect team and product performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute strategic plans and experiments aimed at improving workflows and engineering efficiency.

• Own and manage the operational aspects of product release management, ensuring smooth and timely releases.

• Lead customer support interactions, collaborating with engineering teams to continuously enhance product quality and customer satisfaction in partnership with the QA manager.

• Prioritize and communicate process improvements to both engineers and product teams, ensuring alignment on goals and progress.

Who are you?

• Expertise in software engineering tools, development methodologies, and release processes, with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Strong experience with Agile methodologies, understanding the need for adaptable processes to optimize workflow and performance.

• Deep understanding of software development practices, particularly those that drive code quality and velocity, and how they support business goals.

• Ability to take a hands-on approach in guiding technical teams through complex challenges when necessary.

• Proven track record of defining solutions to solve large-scale, complex business problems through technical innovations.

• Previous experience in leading large-scale technical delivery, ensuring seamless coordination between teams and business units.
