About the role
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and high potential Business Controller with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience to join our finance / strategy team. In this role you will support the organisation with numerous change initiatives in view of scaling, by providing insightful financial & operational analyses and deriving key business insights and improvement opportunities from it. You will report directly to our head of FP&A and work closely with multiple departments, acting as a true, omnipresent, business partner. You can work independently where needed, can assist the finance team with financial modelling, and support company-wide initiatives ranging from sustainability reporting and carbon accounting to business and financial planning.

What will you do?

As a Business Controller at Robovision, you will have a wide variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Business Modelling: Assist with business modelling, integrated financial analysis, and go-to-market planning.

  • Operational Insights: Provide insightful & analytical support to our operational teams, ensuring smooth business operations and metric monitoring.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate on financial budgeting processes with internal business partners, helping to ensure accurate forecasts and alignments across departments.

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Support ad hoc financial analysis requests, assisting business partners across the organisation with critical insights for decision-making.

  • Project-Based Controlling: Collaborate on project-based financial controlling tasks, supporting the finance team in maintaining robust project oversight.

  • Carbon Accounting & ESG Reporting: Take ownership of calculating our carbon footprint and manage reporting related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics.

  • Vertical Analysis: Provide ad hoc support to our Vertical Market Directors, assisting in strategic market analysis.

Job Requirements

Who are you?
You are an experienced and analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about data-driven decision-making. You are eager to collaborate across departments, combining technical and financial expertise to support strategic business goals. You have a critical mindset and new initiatives give you energy.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or a similar role, preferably in a management / strategy consultancy role or in a financial / business controller position

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modelling and business forecasting.

  • Highly proficient in MS Excel or Google Sheets; experience with building business/financial models.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a pragmatic and proactive approach.

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal (Dutch is a plus).

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, dynamic team.

  • Experience with BI environments is a plus.

  • Experience with Carbon Accounting and ESG reporting is a plus.

  • Passion for AI technology and sustainability-driven initiatives.
